Default carborator and kickdown rod

I am about to show how little I know but what better place to come for help? I have a 70 Mach 1, 351C with an FMX tranny. There is not a kickdown rod and there is a Holley 4 brl carb. I have ordered the kickdown rod and I am told that I need an adapter kit for the carb, a connecting rod.The question is what parts do I need, how do I find the model of carb, the kit etc. Thanks

look at the holley catalog, it details what you need. www.holley.com

Post a pic of your carb, and someone here will be able to tell you what it is.

The kickdown is curved to somewhat align with throttle linkage. I used several inches of 1/2 wide plumbing tape (metal strip with holes). One end fit to the linkage and the other attached to the kickdown with a band clamp. I'm sure there are better looking methods.
