still cant find a vacuum tree

Default still cant find a vacuum tree

so i was told that i need a vacuum tree to connect my brake booster and trans, but i can not find one for the life of me.. any one know of a place.. or possible other options?

i did give um call he told me they dont have the part... so im stuck... that tree and relocating my bat is the only thing keeping me from starting her up

That's weird, I would've thought they'd have that.

Well, lacking a real one, JMD's idea should work. Take a trip to Napa and get them to piece something together out of brass fittings for you.

Npd has one for $41.50 it says 65-73 AT, rear, on intake, converting to power brakes, 1 booster port & 1 vacuum port part # 9A474-5 page 87 of their 2007 catalog.

You can do the brass fittings for 5 bucks from Ace Hardware. It's just a T

Not exactly 'just a T.' To make one out of brass fittings you'dneeda T plus properly threaded bushings and hose end adaptors. I'd pay the $40 for the NPD part, just to make it look clean.

for $42 I think I would look in a junkyard there was alot more than mustangs that used them. And I bet they would be about 5 bucks.

ok...a brass T and 3 hose barb fittings... $7.50. It'll be covered with 3 hoses so all you'll see is the center.
