well **** why did everyone tell me to get poly then??? Do you think the strut rods are what is squeeking?
Not every one, you didn't ask me As far as "performance" technically the poly are "better" just like the 620 coils. The don't give like the rubber does, and they have a longer life span. IMHO they are best for circle track cars, and cars that don't see much driving time. I would start with the strut rods, they are easy to grease and likely the main culprit. Grease will eliminate the squeak in the short term but I would eliminate the poly in the long run. The only poly on my car are the sway bar bushings.

When you installed your new front end, (strut rod bushings, sway bar bushings) did you install them greased?...or did you install them dry?

I can probably sell you the head units with connecting tubes so if you got them all you would need to do is have your original strut rods cut and threaded to fit in to the sleeves. Send me an email and we can discuss it further.

I know of at least 6 instances where the stiffness of the poly caused the old strut rod to sheer well driving.
I agree.
Poly strut rod bushings are a bad idea. Too much stress on old components. I have poly on the leaf springs and sway bar only. Everything else is rubber.
