Cam Bearings 351c
I'm getting around to rebuilding the 351 cleveland 4V and i want to change the cam bearings because i know for a fact they havent been done in 10 years probably 30 or more. I read that you need special tools to remove and refit them? Anyone any ideas as to how to go about it?
Thanks all

The cam bearings can be changed with this kit....

There should be a Ford speciffic kit for about $60.00, but I cant find one on Sumitt..
I always have the machine shop install mine.

Thanks. I took my block in to be overbored 30 thou today and he offered to fit my bearings for me. Problem solved and I dont have to fork out 200 dollars for the tool I'll only use once.
Yeah, unless you build engines frequently, it's a lot cheaper to have someone else with the tool do it, than to buy the tool yourself. You'd need to build at least 10 or so engines before the tool paid for itself.
