Default 1965 6cyl brake question

My front brakes are about 2.5', and the rears I was sent are about 2'. At first, I assumed the smaller went up front, but then I looked at it with the hub inside, and remembered the 2.5' goes up front. Is 2' for the rear correct, or was I sent the wrong size? Basically what im asking is, are the fronts larger than the rears?

Thanks

-Mike

In most applications, if not all, the front brakes are larger. I think its something like 80% of braking is done by the front brakes. Just dont quote me on that.
