i've ordered from TMD a few times, they're very good with communication and such and i've never had a problem with them, as for horsepower it counts on the block i'd assume since the internals would probably hold up over the actual block itself i'm guessing.

Ordered our 408 W kit from TMD, Perfect communication, service, and price. I will probably buy from them again.

The 408 kit consisted of Scat crank and rods, Keith Black pistons, Mahle rings, and Fed Mog bearings.

All good quality stuff, watch for the piston chamber size on the pistons, (+ - cc), as the stock kit as presented would not give me the compression I wanted with my 60cc chamber heads. This was cured with a very simple phone call where the pistons were substituted at no charge. If you know your heads cc they can run this through their computer while you are on the phone insuring you get your desired compression ratio.

You might want to go ahead and get the kit balanced as they will do this for $200.00, but you will need to buy the Harmonic balancer and fly/flex wheel also. Pricingon these items is good also and you will probably need them anyway as I think our stroker kit was a neutral balance.

<<BTW, you might consider buying a kit with the H beam rods as you wont have to clearance the block if you use them in a 408 stroker. The I beam rods may require clearancing, but even so, the clearancing is easy, and they will send you a metal template tool that makes it almost foolproof. It will take about an hour with a die grinder to notch the cylinders and machining bosses.

As far as I know it is only on ebay, they provide an 800 number in all of their ads that will get you straight to the store.

im @ their website right now and all they have is hawk racing crankshafts. i have heard that they are not good. (googles hawks racing) how did you get the scat crank?

The kit was easy to put in after everything was done well like JMD said. I must say it is also fun to drive with the stroker kit in there!
