Default have a question for all

i have a question for all you guys (and girls) my buddy has a 70 mustang fastback that we have been working on for acouple years now. well its finally ready for an engine. it was a shaker hood equiped automatic.....NOW its a 347 and 5 speed.(maybe later a 6 speed out of a wrecked cobra???) my question is we saw holley has a new root style supercharger for small block fords that claims can fit under stock hoods. model 174 i think.... i was wondering since it fits under a stock hood would we be able to keep the shaker hood. you know look stock untill you stomp it at the track. so does anyone know if that would work.... supercharged 347 and a 6 speed speed in a 70 body. (basically a late model mach1 or cobra in 70 skin) thanks i hope some one answers soon as i am looking forward to track season.

Not familiar with that SC, but most for carbed engines require a box that encloses the carb. This would not allow the shaker to fit also...maybe with a lot fab work?

I would just loose the shaker hood and add EFI w/ CAI.
