They are 67-68's. The company responsible for producing the authentic GT500E was located here in the Dallas, Texas area. I say "was" because they have recently had most of their cars confiscated by the police. Evidently, they were using money from person A's deposit to pay for building person B's car. I assume he was behind on the bills so people started complaining and began lawsuits. Carroll Shelby has pulled his endorsement for this company. It looks like it's over for Unique Performance.

I am almost positive I read on their site that they used 67 or 68's. I haven't looked recently and like I said the site has been slimmed down now that they are in trouble. However, I believe they are still producing the Foose GT, but that's about it.
