Default some cheap headers

i was on craigslist and came accrossed theies does this sound like a deal. i have some shortys right now. i have no idea wht brand they are but they guy at wokr said there for 3o2. so should i buy thies or just stick with my shortys?

this is the add.

This is a pair of Hedman headers removed from a 1968 Mustang I parted out recently. They have ZERO miles on them. They have ZERO scrapes, bends, or dents. They were run long enough to burn the paint off and have a coating of light surface rust but would blast and ceramic coat or hi temp paint nicely! They may fit other year Mustangs as well but they were on a 68 with power steering and fit perfectly! Will fit 289 and 302 and maybe 351W You Ford guys ought to know. Price is 60 bucks firm. Call 248 542 3039 to inspect or purchase. Thanx

Like the ad says, they are Headman headers. You can buy them new from Summitt for 120 or so. They're good low priced headers, but have a reputation for leaking at the heads, as well as being low and dragging on low sitting cars.

i allways thought long tubes werre better? but yeah the guy from work have them shortys to me and he said they fit my 1967 mustang 302 head but i think his might be off a 70s or 80s 302, are the head exhaust ports the same?

Those are probably factory fox-body headers. They will probably fit just fine, but they're still fairly crappy as far as headers go. If you've got shorties already, leave em in there.

Those aren't factory headers from a fox. They didn't come with long tubes. The shorties that foxes did come with look like hell with all kinds of wrinkles in the tubing.
I get 'em. I never scraped mine. But my car didn't ride in the dirt, and I went 12.1's all day long with those headers on motor with a 302

I was referring to the shorty headers his friend has, not the long-tubes in the picture:-|
