Default 65 aftermarket help.

Here we go again. I am restomoding my 69 fastback and my friends 65 fastback at the same time (I got roped into it). He stopped in today and seen I have all the metal work done: floors, transition pan, trunk pans, quarters, front fenders, doors, rear frame rails, etc. There is not a lot of original car left. Any way I though I could see the light at the end of the tunnel when he said he would like a 67 shelby scoop on the hood, side scoops, and rocker skirts. Does any one sell the rocker skirts separately and has any one ever put a 67 scoop on a 65 hood? Will I have any problems with it?

Try Mustang Plus for the side skirts. I think they sell them separate. As for the scoop, tell him if he wants it, to buy a fiberglass hood with the 67 shelby scoop in it. It will be a lot less work for you.

I'm sure other vendors have them too.

I would get him to buy the Shelby style hood for the 65 from mustangsplus or laurel Mtn mustang(NPD)is too expensive for those,as far as the side scoops I believe one of those places sells those also! And I know that NPD carries the rocker moldings and clips if thats what you are referring to!Good Luck with it!If you can talk your buddy into that hood you will save yourself a serious amount of work!
