What fuel are you running? And I'm assuming you have a good intercooler for it? Also I like the choice of EFI. If I were to go EFI, FAST would be my first choice if I had the money for it. They actually have a complete system out for SBF's now for around $4,700. Includes everything, harness, PCM, manifold, sensors etc, all of it.

That is bad ***! Mine will look like that tomorrow! I stopped by the builder today and he lost a washer for one head bolt so that put a wrench into things. I will post pics tomorrow or Wed.

It will run on pump gas on the street, and no intercooler. I have full control of the timing so no problems. I will be running a Classic FAST because that's what I have been tunning for a year now on a race car. You can pick then up for around $1500 used of the racing forums.

Valley Firearms....I look forward in seeing your new setup, after all the troubles you've gone through....

its going to be interesting seeing you with that compression + supercharger running pump gas, but that motor looks mighty fine[8D]

Im @ 8.5-1 compression on my 347.
I havent added a inter-cooler either. Still undecided on that or the Snow performance Methane injection kit.
When you say you have control over timing are you talking laptop or msd 6albtm like I have?
Interesting design I likey!

Set timing though the FAST in relation to RPM. You can do it on Supercharger installs because you have a good idea of where the boost will be at certain rpm and you can see it with the laptop. The MSD box I have is Digital6+. I might still change it...

Centrifiguals can get away with more boost for the compression as well, or more compression for the boost. They don't really build boost until cylinder pressures start to drop off. It's not uncommon to see people with 9.5:1 compression running pump fuel on 14psi of boost. With good ignition control it's easier to do, but I wouldn't wany to try running compression that high with that kinda boost on a turbo or a roots/screw setup.

Pardon my ignorance. What do you mean by short filled? Filled water jacket for strength? Does that may it less streetable due to overheating issues?

LCC you've obviously put a whole lotta thought into that engine and set up. Looks awesome and I bet it will sound amazing too. Have you got thattwitchy feeling like you just want it in the car and running right NOW?!?!!?

Naturally us mustang perverts will require engine **** vid when it is running

The block is only have filled so that the bottom of the cylinders don't distort because it is a stock block. No over heating issues that I know of, that engine was running 650Hp on spray when it was in use and it did see the streets and never over heated then.

I will set up a camera when we get to that point. Lots of work still ahead of me.
