Default stock intake

I currently have rebuilt my 302 engine, and was wondering if I changed my stock 4bl intake to a more Hi Pro intake, ie "edelbrock performer" will I feel an improvement in power? My Holley is a 600
I currently have a mid cam, headers,an older MolleyDistributor ( no points)and just stock 289 heads.
Thanks

without a doubt the answer is 100% yes.

look at the weiand model #8124, or a performer RPM for your setup.

basically the order of power / power ranges from intakes goes as follows.......

stock
performer
weiand 8124
performer rpm
performer rpm airgap

somehow the stealth and the offenhouser intakes fit into that picture but you get the idea.
