I need a new drivers door for my 66 coupe. I am wondering if the new remanufactured doors have the matted or grainy finish on them or if theyare smooth. My passengers door is decent with a little surface rust and I would hate to replace both if I didn't have to, I just want the inside finish to match. Otherwise I could bondo and smooth out.

Also how hard is it to transfer the guts from old door to a new door? thanks in advance.

 

I bought two new doors for my 67 and they were a perfect match, had the grainy finish. I am not looking forward to transferring everything, but I know it can be done. That is one of my summer projects.
