New to the board here. I'm interseted in upgrading to a 9" bolt-in rear for my 66 Coupe. I see Strange Engineering, Currie, and Perogie all sell these. Any feedback on which one is more commonly used. The Currie is quite a bit less in price than the Strange. Also, I notice that Currie offers different 5-lug bolt patterns. Any comments on this? Intended use of my car is street with a trip down the track one in a while. TIA.
Can't go wrong with currie. They've been doing this for years. If they are better on price, then you can rest assured currie will give you what your looking for.
If you do order a custom rear end, do yourself a favor and have it narrowed just enough so you can use all or your wheel housing.
