simple +- ?

Default simple +- ?

im hooking up my tach and the instructions say to hook a wire up to the (-) post on the BAT. do i have to run a wire all the way to the (-) post or can i just ground it to the frame

ground should work.

if it doesnt then run it to the batt, it shouldnt hurt the tach if it doesnt work...

Could you imagine what in the heck it would look like if you had to run everything to the (-) side of the battery? You would have to use a tower for the terminal.
