I just put in a 289 in my 68 mustang it had a inline 6 now i want to upgrade my suspension the car is being restored from the floor up i wanna add some disc brakes but wanted to see what you guys think about this suspension

I think the rear sway bar is not needed, and the 1" sway bar is overkill if it's a street car. You can buy the pieces that you need individually cheaper.

I guess thats not too bad, but you'd need other parts aswell that arent listed. If I could do it all over, I'd go with a kit from www.opentrackerracingproducts.com

I have had excellent results from Opentracker Racing Products.
They come highly recommened.

I'd get the kit from Laurel Mountain for $809 that is complete with the tie rod ends, etc. Only thing not included is the pitman arm and drag link. Then get the brakes from DiscBrakeSwap.com.

^ I wasnt too happy with laurelmountainmustangs kit. Most of it was ok and the price was excellent, but I threw the spring saddles straight in the garbage.

what other parts would I need in the above kit I dont think the price is bad either from mustang plus

Well, that kit has the rear suspension covered. The only thing I would be consider is new bolts for the front of the leaf springs.

For the front suspension, I would also get upper and lower control arms, spring saddles, and strut rods. These dont look to be included in that kit.
