Default Tremec TKO600 Help!

hey everyone! always been a fan but never posted until now so here goes:
im currently in the process of buying the parts required for a tremec TKO600 swap. i have a 67coupe with a 347 motor. i was wondering if someone can clarify a couple of questions for me. first off i notice there are two types of clutches, a 10" and a 10.5", whats the difference and how do i know which one i need? same issue with flywheels, there are two different sizes, a 28oz and a 50oz, whats the difference and how do i know which one i will need?
Thank You

10/10.5/11 are clutch diameters. You want a bigger clutch when you can get it, but you need a flywheel that can support it. Most of the Ford flywheels for Windsor family engines are either 10 or 10.5. If you're getting a new flywheel, go with one that'll take at least 10.5. Flywheels for 11" clutches usually require bigger bellhousings. 28 or 50 oz balance is the imablance factor of the flywheel for the rotating assembly balance. You need whichever your engine was balanced for. Factory 302's used 28 until the like 1982, when they switched to 50oz. Since you have a stroker, it had to have been balanced by a shop, and it would be balanced for whichever balance factor they used. Don't use the wrong one.

Best advice I can give here is for you to pick a clutch and flywheel from a certain model year and stick with it.

Say for example you are using a bell housing from a 92 Mustang, buy a clutch, starter, and flywheel for a 92 Mustang. Watch out for input shaft differences, (you can get a 10 spline input shaft with a TKO 600), and balance issues, 28 or 50 (or possibly "0" with a stroker) depending on your engine build...
