Turned out great. Looks like it might have taken less time than the leaf spring bolt.[:@]

I had one leaf spring that bolted behind the driver seat that I couldn't get out. Tossed everything in my garage at it but theSOB still wont budge. I finally just cut the spring off knowing that I was going to replace them anyway, but the spring stubs still there taunting me.

I had the same problem getting one of my leaf springsout. I had to melt the entire bushing with a torch (which made a total mess and made some awful fumes). Once the bushing was gone I was able to heat up the metal sleeve that the bolt went through and it came right out.

Well I'm just gonna walk away from it for now. I have a lot of rust to get after that should keep me busy for a couple months anyway.

Great use of what you have available. I have been working out a way to build one cheaply and now I know what to use. My brother in law got me a Harbor Freight gift card for my birthday and that will help offset the expense a bit.
