i own a 66 coupe with a 289/c4 automatic/3.55 rear gears. i was wondering how much it wieghs? she has ported and polished heads with a 3 angle valve job, edelbrock rpm air gap intake, 600 cfm carb, the cam is a split face design. the cams advertised duration is 276 on the intake and 286 on the exhaust. the duration is 218 on the intake and 228 on the exhaust at.050" lift. i am running a stock c4 and an 8" rear end with 3.55:1 gears.my second question is what do you think she'll run in the 1/4?

 

well all I know is stock, a 66 coupe weighs somewhere around the area of 2700lbs give or take a 100 lbs. Very rough estimate

 

Have you had it dynoed? You need to know the horse power at the rear wheels to estimate what she'll do in a 1/4. Take her out to a track and find out.........
