Has anyone used this manifold ? And what your overall impression of it.

I want to know is if anybody has had any hood clearance issue on a stock 66hood.

Thanks in advance.

Highly commonly used, You will have no problems with this intake, as long as you don;t have some rediculiosly tall Air Cleaner.

In a more mild engine you might be a bit better off with a smaller intake, like a Weiand Action Plus(8124). With the rpm ranges they list on those intakes, basically add 1,000rpm and that's the top end they can run at effectively. It's hard to go wrong with the RPM though.

Well I'm thinking on upgrading to aset of Edelbrock heads and a newCOMP cam along with this manifold.

I'm mostly intersted in a weekend cruiser with the kids with a little moreon tap for my own satisfaction.

Yeah, with Edelbrock heads and a decent cam it'll make plenty of power with that intake. If I had more gear I'd put my RPM Air Gap on the 302 I have now.
