That is beyond great! Hard to believe it is the same car. Is that the original front cross rail and front rail extensions?And clearly, had I not posted a couple of pages out of the shop manual for you I'm sure you would have given up in despair. I hereby take full credit for a successful restoration.

James, It is a fiberglass hood. I had to do some tweaking on it before paint... it's not perfect, but it turned out good enough...

Looks good. I thought from all the framing under the hood that it was all metal.

i love those white fastbacks with them blue rally stripes!
but why is it that so many fastbaclks I see are nose happy ? (ie: the front higher than the back) ?

i dunno.... It was parked in the driveway...which has a little incline...I'll have to get it on a level spot and look at it... All the suspension is new...with 1" lowering springs front and rear...
