oh so close....
r7jbodyshop.... believe it or not, I just kept adding clear topcoat to a black basecoat. It took a little testing on a old fender, but it ended up looking just right....I made sure I played with a whole pint, so when I got it right, I just finished out the gun...
Kalli.... We got the rocker stripes on today, and snapped these pics... it doesn't look as high in the front on level ground...

you're right, it doesn't have a high gloss. I added clear to my black basecoat...I want to say it was about 50/50. The base mixed with the clear ended up as semi-gloss. I reduced it as if it were just basecoat. The paint brand I used for the whole car was RM Diamont.
