Default 65 Fastback project update, brake fluid working

As a follow up to a post a few days ago, I tried something a little different to remove the old (and some newer) undercoating. Brake fluid. I had about a quart+ from bleeding brakes so I decided to put it to good use so I flipped the car pver and brushed the undercarriage and engine compartment. I then waited two days and done it again. So far, most of the old and new undercoating has softened to the level where I can take my fingernail and scratch it off. Seems like its gonna work very good, and leaving it onfor a few days helps also.I hope to get the pressure washer and give it a good blasting this weekend.

That is a very interesting approach. Is it standard or synthetic fluid would that even make a difference?

Though it was worth a try. Its mostly used DOT 3. I'm not sure the synthetic would work. The snow has let up today and later I hope to give it a blast. It seems like two to three coatsa few days apartout over a week is the right recipe, and has worked better that expected.
