The engine will fit, although changing spark plugs is a PITA, there is not much room between the shock towers. It is very impressive looking in the engine bay and the Cleveland in a 68 is nice and quick... great throttle response - I would recommend it the car is so much fun to drive.
It's been over 10 years since I did the swap, but as I recall the only major suspension upgrade that I did was to replace the springs since the weight of the 351c had the tires rubbing in the front. I replaced them with springs designed for the 390, and that worked out great, the car sits nicely in the front. I didn't go with headers, I kept the original manifolds from the Mach 1 and had a custom exhuaust done. I also had to get custom hoses made for the power steering - they will have to be routed differently or you will burn right through them from the exhaust manifolds.
Good Luck!
Well, since they stuffed 428CJ in those cars, a Cleveland will fit for sure.
The hook ups are always the guessing part, like already mentioned before.
As far as spark plugs, those shock towers always gonna be a pain, no matter what engine that is biggerthan 289/302[8D].
Also, if you plan to usethe OEMradiator, itmight not work becauseof the different offset for the hoses...
The upper hose is almost always on the pass side but the lower is never a sure thing, depending on the engine style/size etc...
