forged vs. hypereutectic pistons

I got 20,000-30,000 miles on my 10 to 1 forged flat tops and I just did a head job and they look great still.

I've heard that if you aren't running high rpm or a power adder, hyp. is the way to go. Inexpensive and something about better heat transfer. I'm going to use forged in my new motor, simply because if I ever decide to add a blower or something, I wont have to rip it apart to replace pistons....

If all you are going to do is "putt, putt" around the street, cruise the strip and what not, forged pistons are a waste of your money. [sm=gears.gif]

Through [sm=nxsmile.gif]on it and the forger pistons will save your motor. With forged pistons, you could easily do a 150hp boost. [sm=smiley20.gif]
