Default Shop Manual

A buddy has a '68 Coupe and he used a shop manual. I can't remember the brand. I know it wasn't Chilton or Haynes, as I have both of these. the book he had was way more detailed. Anyone have this book or know the name? I'd just ocntact my buddy but I dont have his current contact info.

Thanks.

Might be an original mustang shop manual. I have a 67 mustang shop manual which I got from ebay for about $14 a few years ago. You might search ebay and get lucky on a used manual...good luck!!!

I got the shop manual too off Ebay but mine was like $30+. Mine looks like someone photocopied the original book, with a really old copying machine and tacked it together with a paste stick. Some of the pics (all b&w) are hard to see...

I may be this one. There are several places to get it online. Check around for price.

Thanks guys. I'll keep looking. I just need detail for some of this stuff that you can't get in the Chilton or Haynes.

there's actually only 1 shop manual.
there might be hundreds of mustang repair books, but only the one that was given to fords garages.
that's the shop manual
you can either get it as paperback or on CD for printing out the pages you need

like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Cougar-Fairlan...560&sr=8-3
those shop manuals are a must have

what year do you need?

Thats probably the one I'm thinking of:
http://www.amazon.com/1967-Cougar-Fa...088&sr=1-2
Having it on CD would be cool. I can just have the lappy out there with me. Also makes searching easy...if its in a searchable format.
Year I need: 1967

If anyone has any other worthy books that I should get, let me know. I have the Haynes, the Chilton [I dont trust it] and various How to rebuild ford big blocks and Ford performance engine books.

Virginia Classic Mustang sells them for $22 on CD in Adobe Acrobat format. What more do you need.

Well I have on called 'motors' its about 1000 pages but it has like the falcon and mercureys in with the mustang, other than that it is great. Very detailed, pictures aren't the best, but it also has a troubleshoot section. Also it tells you how to do everything in plain english step by step.
