Default Need to Paint!

Ok guys I'm about to attempt to paint my girl. Can anyone suggest a good paint brand and where to buy? I'm looking for a acrylic enamel single stage paint. I would like a Dark charcoal gray with pearl. Any ideas?
Thanks
Johnny

I have used Matrix with good results. I have House of Kolor on my car now, too expensive($160 a qt)and too hard to touch up.

I've used house of color on the engine bay, trunk, and undercarriage. Good single stage paint. Give it time to cure, I think it's like 90 days.I don't know about most people on here, but taking about painting their own car is something most don't want to talk about. It is one of those things that isbetter left for the professional. There is too much at stake. After putting all the work into the mechanical or interior or suspension or wheels and tires, the paint is what everyone notices. Then everything else. So that needs to bedone really well.Good luck, post some pics once your finished. Before and after, pics go a long way here.

i would buy a decent 2k urethane. the omni line from ppg is very user friendly. if you spray single stage metallic you cant really wet sand and buff it because it will mess up the metallic distribution. if you doing this in you garage id go base clear id put a couple coats of base down wetsand it with 800grit put a couple more then clear it. it should come out pretty clean but you have the option of removing all the trash from the paint

I like BASF Limco Single Stage enamel paint. It is pretty affordable too.
