Default 1965 289 coupe

Friend of mine is moving and is selling his 1965 289 mustang. 14k on new 289 engine no rust no cracks in dash...runs like a top. He is in a pinch and wants to give it to me for $2500. Registered and runs like a top! Am I getting a steal here?

Runs like a top, no rust or bondo no cracks or tears in interior. Should I purchase this?

In case you Classic members are confused, I had the new member moderator move this thread down here so we can discuss it.
