I got a cpuple questions ive been thinking..
1...are there any disk brake kits that can be used with the stock 14 inchers, and still look ok with somthing like a 16x8 magnum 500. ( i dont know how disks interfere, but perhaps a temporary spacer? i know theyr bad, but I want better brakes, and just till i got the cash for wheels)
2.on subject of magnums, any one know where i can get a set of good original looking ones? none of that double rimed, misplaced valve stem stuff. original looked better
3. if i were to put a new intake/carb on, and then a few months later, put aftermarket heads on, can the gaskets for the intake still be used on the reinstal? or are they mostly a one time deal? (im thinking no?)

Intake gaskets are usually relatively inexpensive, and are notorious for leaking oil. They usually come in multiple pieces and are sealed with silicone or something like it where they join. I'd plan to replace them.
The Carb gasket/plate could probably be used if undamaged.

just to clear this up a bit... Im thinking about a four barrel/intake cuz my stock on is leaking. i also want to get some heads on aswell, but later. I was wondering about the NEW gasketsid put on with a four barrel swap. im just trying avoid buying a bunch of gaskets, then having to throw em out pretty soon after
I'm not sure of any disk brake upgrades that will work with the stock 14" wheels. Some like the CSRP brakes will work with other 14" wheels like the mag 500s. Could always buy the disk brakes and garage them until you get the cash for new wheels and tires also.
Gaskets are pretty much a one time deal. Once they are used and tightened down on thats it. Doesn't matter if its 6 months down the road or the next day. So yeah, when you want to add the new heads you'll have to replace the gaskets too.
If its only a few months I'd live with the leak, gather up the parts and do all the work at once.

I've heard of people "modifying"the Granada disk conversion to fit in the stocker 14's. I imagine they just grinded down the calipers enough to clear, but apparently it was very close.
I'd save up more and do the wheels and brakes at the same time.
