Default MSD Igintion for 1969 302

i have a guy willing to sell me a msd 6al igniton box and coil.

what msd distributor will i need? i have checked the magazines and there are so many choices i cant understand which is best for my car.

i will switch to electronic ingnition vs points in this swap as well.

any help appreciated

In addition to the MSD distributors, you can also use a Ford Duraspark to trigger that MSD box. They are pretty indestructable and very inexpensive.

You may also need a tach adapter and noise suppressor from msd...

You can use your stock distributor and add a pertronix electric upgrade module. Its easy to install, will trigger your new coil and only costs about 80 bucks.

these would be great additions to your ignition sys.

MSD Billet Sist PN8582 This is the one I'm using and it's great and not that expensive.

This is the same a listed above only used.

The Pro-Billet a step up fromt he other 2.

The best part about these Dist is they all use a magnetic pickup that plugs directly into the 6al box
