How do I get a lanyard or wire on my new gas cap like the original one has. I can unscrew the wire from the tail light pannel but it seems that the wire is permanently installed to the cap. is that right?

What can I use to attach the cap so noone can just run off with it in a parking lot some where?[/align][/align]Also , does anyone know how the lock kit works with the twist off cap??? Anyone have one?[/align]

 

I have the kit but havent installed it yet. Basically there is just a metal rod that goes through your valence and makes it so the cap cant be twisted. you have to open the trunk and pull the rod back (i believe it is on a spring system) and then you can twist the cap off.
