i recently purchased an '86 convertible. i want to restore it from the ground up. i am having a hard time finding the rear panels for a convertible. i found panels for a 90-93 but they dont look the same at all in the pictures. does anyone know any other place besides latemodelrestoration.com?

from what i understand, a car that is 20 yrs old is considered a classic. ive checked ebay and craigs list but nothing like that for my year. im looking for new parts. not from a junk yard!

 

try the 5.0 section, they might be able to help ya better, this section is for 1st generation Mustangs. I don't thing they are reproducing those parts yet, and they tend to go for big bucks at car show.
