I can't read it. Their are others out their that are just as good, and area fraction of the cost. Onething to ask before you buy is if the wire is coated with crossed linked polyethylene (or something else), as this is often used in marine applications and would be an indication of the quality. Its usually found in marine applications, and quality wiring harnesses. For whats its worth.

My gosh, that's horrible, why would they put up a web page like that? I didn't see a price.

There are some on this forum that are partial to the Ron Francis kit, I believe it is $429 or so. I think I may be getting one. Hopefully JMD will respond to this, I think he's done the Ron Francis kit 2-3 times.

A friend of mine changed one on his 48, it was a off brand (maybe not now) and paid like 129.00 for it. It had circuits for everything (power windows, door locks, yada yada).I personally think some of these kits are VERY overpriced and this is one area where youcan saveseveral hundred dollars. It had the good coating and was labeled every few inches. The only troublehe had was in the steering column (this is most often where people get confused), with a phone call anda live body answering, hesolved hisproblem in seconds. Not tosay the painless and francis kits are not quality, but the same quality can be had for about 1/3 of the cost.Food for thought.

I went with the Ron Francis kit myself. Its going to depend on if you want a replacement harness (the painless) or a custom wiring setup (ron francis). I can say with certainty that the quality of the kit that Ron puts together is top notched and the headlight switch and Express wiring panel are definitely sweet additions. Do a quick search for "Painless" and I'm sure you'll find 50 or more threads with comments.

I did the Painless kit. Yeah it was a lil pricey, but it was super easy to install.
