Default $$$ per HP

How much $$$ have you spent per HP gain? In other words, for the cost of unprades how much power did you gain over stock? Im just curious b/c I am rebuilding my engine and I am trying to figure best bang for buck for various add ons/upgrades.

Figuring I spent ~$4k on the new engine (331) and I'm making ~320 net fwhpwith it, and assuming the old C code makes about 160 net fwhp, that's a 160hp gain, putting me right at $25/hp.
