I know where one of those are. Only 30 miles from the house. Still boxed. The guy will not sell it.I think thebelt was very bad for stretching and would slip a notch once it got hot.A friend told me that they would change the belt every 2 or 3 passes. The Chevy guys cried (like they always do) when they wasn't winning, and NASCAR banned it.Kinda looks like a Modular engine with the covers off. Seen a stroked4.6 (to 302+) last weekendthat made 500 HP with what I understandonlybolt ons. It had a great sound too.

In college I worked at Total Performance in Mt. Clemens, MI. The owner has a '63 Sunliner with a 427 cammer in it. He also has a speed boat that he pulls around on a trailer with the sunliner that has a cammer in it. The boat engine is just for show and isn't a runner, but everything is chrome or polished. His personal parts stash is amazing! He probably has the most cammer and Boss 429 engine parts of any one person.

Ahhh the cammer. The only engine I'd rather have in my mustang instead of my 427 Tunnel Port. I saw one in a 67 fastback at national trail raceway in columbus ohio at the all ford nationals several years ago. They had to shave the shock towers to get it in there but it sure looked impressive. I sold my first ERA Cobra to a guy that lives about 45 min. from me who has one on a stand. He was planning on putting it into a car but I lost touch with him so I don't know if he ever got it done or not.
