Default advice for buying '67

i'm going to look at a 67 fastback for sale, what areas usually rust out so i know what to look for. Also about how much should i pay if its in good enough shape that it will only need minor restoration work but has no motor/trans, they want 3500

if it's got all it's parts, (especially the hard to find stuff that's not reproduced), it's worth it, no matter how much of a rust bucket it is...IF you can do the resto yourself

It will have to be a complete Piece of crap to not be worth $3500. Behind the rear wheels, the floorboards, especially the back, the torque boxes and the frame rails. those are the rust spots. Even if it is a little rusty that is a good price.

3500 sounds good. Ive seen fb's thatlook like swisscheese go for damn near that much.

Floor pans, frame rails, trunk floor, inner lower quarter panel, rocker panels, and "suspension pockets" (the area behind the suspension has a cup shape that holds road junk, dont know the real name). And COWL

Rusty junks go for more than that. Grab it if it's even close to being all there and you can do the work.
