yoou get this information from the block casting number (under starter).
But the K-codes didn't use K-code blocks, so to identify those you'll have to check on your heads (remove valve cover)

actually I'm wrong. you won't find info on A or C code on the block either if i'm correct.

but the difference between A code and C code is more or less only 4V intake and 2V intake. maybe different compressions as well.
