Default good find or pass?

I found a 1968 coupe
289 v8 running
3 speed
flashers in the hood

How much you think its worth? I have not been to see it yet so I am just going off the photos.

Looks pretty good to me for $3K, just make sure to check for rust issues.

check to see if it was originally a 289 car
Make sure its a five lug and not four
if there is little to no rust by the look of the pictures 3000 sounds about right
BUT
offer him 2000 cash and work it from there
good luck!

Yes lowball it then you can always go up. Can't go down! Sounds like a fair price to me, if you can get it less than $3k, then the better the deal. As long as there is no major rust throughout, alittle is to be expected with these older classics. Looks complete too, at least from what I see.

If he's asking $3000 then he'll take $2500 and that would be a good deal. I'd offer $2200 to start out and see how far he would come down, but I'd stand firm at $2500 though.
