Default center counsil

I was just wondering what you guys would think If I...primed, and painted my center counsil blue. It is not the original one, and it is green unstead of blue. How do you think it will look if I can find the right color? I know it is kinda weird, but I was looking and they are a couple hundred dollars for a new one. So that just came to my head and just seeing what you all had to say about it. or if you have any good ideas I am very open. Thank you

Use Dye not paint, paint with chip off in plaes and look like ****. If you bought new you would still have to dye it the color you want since they only come black. Most mustang vendors sell the intior Dye as well as paint.

As you can see in this pic some dumb idiot PO of my car painted every thing black the interior was originally light blue as seen by the chips around the door.

I disagree. I redid my entire interior and when it came time for paint, we ordered a parchment paint from mustangs unlimited. They sent us generic cans, and i didnt really look to hard at them other then to check the color. My dad and I sprayed the whole interior with them, and noticed it smelled and behaved differently then paint. It turned out we did the whole car in "interior dye" or "vinyl dye". It SUCKED i could just rub my hand on it and it would ball up and come off. So after stripping that all off, we repainted the whole thing with interior paint from another parts vendor, and it has been perfect. My recommendation would be to clean your console well and then prime it and paint it with paint from a vendor other then mustangs unlimited, and if it doesnt work, you can always strip it off and use something else.

This is the paint to use on interior panels. It's the best out there.

There is also a adhesion promoter for vynle and plastics for painting . As said before clean it well use the promoter as recommended then paint . You should have trouble free results .
