Too late, I just bought it. Thanks for the heads up. Just kidding. That's a good deal if it is what he is saying. Make sure the tag is present and you decode it. As a matter of fact, call him in the morning and ask him for the numbers. If it's a big block top loader it won't work with your windsor but it's worth buying since it would be worth $800+. Mine is a 70 toploader with the factory hurst installed shifter and linkage. I paid $400 for mine several years ago and that was a good deal. Look in the FAQ section for transmissions. There is all the info you'll ever need.

A bigblock toploader will work with a smallblock in a Mustang if you change the input shaft and shifter location. The BB shaft is shorter than the SB shaft and doesn't seat in the pilot bearing. Changing shafts requires almost totally dismantling the tranny. The tail housing is the same length, but the shifter mounting location is different. This can be remedied with an adapter plate that locates the shifter further back. Decode the tag.

I love eBay and Craigslist descriptions. The details they give are so great.

As long as you get the Tag info you can find out pretty much everything over at David Kee Toploader Transmissions, Inc. Check out the ID Charts and Information links from menu.
