Default efi swap / wiring

alright well luck has it just when i'm pissing on carbs a friend of mine is doing a swap on his 93 (going tt, what a wimp). for helping him he's giving me his old GT40 upper and lower, his 19lb injectors, the rails, maf, and tb. now i know i can swap it all over to my 67 but the only thing confusing me is...

i have a stock computer from my old 92 which i'm going to use, everywhere else i've seen you can get a harness or cut your old one and wire it up. i've looked around and there should be anywhere from 8-13 total connections. now.. the confusing thing... do i knock all the other pins/wires out that aren't being used or do i just leave them there? i.e. only have the 8-13 wires hanging out of the ecu pigtail or.. what? do i HAVE to run an inertia switch to the back for the fuel pump? do i HAVE to wire the a/c circuit even though i don't have a/c (since at wot it kicks the a/c off) and lastly the VSS. i need to get a new cable anyway but where would i hook the VSS up to if i'm cable driven and do they have a VSS that fits in the c4? thanks guys.

Good luck.... you'll need it. It's a PITA at times, but in the end worth every minute/penny.

No, you have all the ECU connections still on the ECU and connector. There are wires that you have to splice FROM the ECU wiring to the chassis wiring (As in, to crank the engine, to let the eec know the engine is cranking, power to coil, etc, etc). In actuality you will be making a lot more splices as you will want to run relays, and will have to shorten/length some wires.
