Very nice. You can alway go on a straight angle to the rear seat. Put a carpeted board or steel divider in first then screw the board to that.

That's gonna look nice when it's done. I hope you will post the finished product. I am going to close mine it too but I want to be able to carry a spare and jack and still have it look nice

yea I will make sure to post the finished product. I still plan on somehow blocking off the back seat, and alsomaking a panel that encloses the taillight housings and the gas filler neck.

i did the same thing, had some time a couple of days after getting my 65. had to keep looking at what to do and how to clean it up a little. i used some panels thati got at homedepot its 1/4 thick easy to cut and bend. if you like ill post some picks of the back to see how i held it together and so you can see exactly what panels i used. hope it gives you some ideas of what you can do its easy to remove and install maybe about 5 min

does it just sit in there or did you hold it in place somehow?

i might do this to my car...just real quick and easy not anything elaborate

so you just took the particle board, cut the shape of your trunk, then bought some carpet that you cut and laid over it?

I sprayed carpet adhesive onto the boards and put the carpet on... I didnt just lay it on top, I wrapped the boards in the carpetso that it has a cleaner look. The boards arent held down by anything but they fit together fairly tight so they do not move at all.
