Default C4 problem! Help needed!!!

Well, I started home in my car and made it about have way (maybe 2 miles), and I heard a weird noise. I looked behind me and I saw lots of smoke. I stopped and got out and looked unIder the car. She was leaking tranny fluid badly so I went back to the shop (babied it the entire way) and put it up on the lift. Originally I thought that the front pump seal was bad, but nope, its pushing the fluid out of the vent in the tailhousing. I felt of the cooler lines and the trans wan't too hot at all. I decided to pull the trans out again, and when I pulled the driveshaft, about a gallon of fluid came out! I just put in a new TCI valvevody and a new 3000 stall converter and for the first 10 miles or so, everything worked like a charm. Does anybody have any ideas as to what could be causing this???

Honestly I have no freaking idea......

I am a real DIY guy, who is pretty mechanically inclined, but for the most part when there is a problem with an auto tranny my answer is that it is broke and it either needs to go to the tranny shop, or be replaced... Which in most cases turns out to be the right answer,,because these little Hungarian devils are very sensitive to "slip conditions" and are subject to total failure after only a little bit of slippage... which really sucks....

Well, I guess I am not much help, but I will give you a bump so some smart guy can get ahold of this message!

Ouch??? I really don't think that the tranny is hurt. I had ran it pretty hard and it never slipped at all. When the problem arised, I was just driving it normally, and wasn't over half throttle. I think that maybe a seal between the pump and drum went bad, or there is a piece of trash stuck in the valve body.
