Default price help

when i recently aquired my 68 coupe it came with two transmissions. one , witch was installed on the motor is an automatic, the other is a top loader 4spd. both look to be new, or very recently rebuilt. im thinking of gettinga 5sp trans. what do you think i can get for both of the trans that came with my car.

The toploader, if in verifiable good operating condition will bring more than you'd spend on a similar condition T5. The auto is probably a C4 and they are a dime a dozen , but figure someone will pay you $100 for the auto and $6-700 for the toploader.

A bit of degreaser and a can of spray paint can make anything look like new

I'm with Dave on the toploader. I had one that i got in a deal with a truck and other transmissions and everyone wanted that one over the othersand I finally sold it for $500.
