Yeah I realized that was just a bad idea soon after thinking it. I would just get the repoped parts from NPD.

lol i got VERY lucky. shes beengarage kept allher life. I cant park it anywhere without getting at least 2 offers left under the windshild wiper. one was for 20k. it makes people sike when they say "wow it must of been hard to find a fastback in that condition, what did you pay for it" and i say "it was easy i just lifted my grandparents garage and gave her 50 bucks for the title change" it makes people turn green. but all in all its a history thing with this car,i was rasied by my grandparents andi came home from the hospital when i was born in it, i wouldnt go to sleep untill my grandmother drove me around in it, and my grandma would sit out in garage with me for hours nearly everyday so i could play in the car a pretend i was driving. I was suposed to inherit the car but my grandmother gave it to me 2 years ago so she could see me enjoy it like she did. i offered her fair market value but she said "i always said ill never sell it so you can have it". so no its not that it is a mustang its the fact that it was her car, so no she's not for sale. she did make me promise one thing, and that was if i had a kid or grandkid that loved the car like i did to pass it to them or she said be burried with it. on the latter i think ill donate it to a musem if i dont have someone that sees the car as a family heirloom other then a money maker.

Thats an awesome story and car stang_gang, I wish I was that lucky.

But the guy hasn't called me back about the shell yet, I may try calling again tomorrow but after that, oh well. Luckily I'm working on getting my car shipped out to me so I will finally be getting my fix. Then I'll be back in the classic section more often begging for help and info.
