Default T5 in a 69 Mach1

I have a question that I wanted to toss out there to see if anyone has any ideas. A friend of mine has a very nice '69 Mach 1. It has a 351W that had the old cast iron FMX 3 speed auto.. He swapped it for a T5 and is having problems with a clutch linkage. He found a pedal and arm setup but does not want to use the '69 type machanical linkage setup because they are hard to find and didn't really work all that well.
Problem is that there is no place on the firewall to bring the cable through that lines up with the link point of the clutch pedal.
I was thinking of a hydraulic clutch.
Does anyone out there have any ideas for a posible donor vehicle that might have a hydraulic clutch setup that might be adaptable for this?

Google JMC Motorsports and McLeod for a hydraulic clutch kit.
