posi gear additive?

I am waiting on gaskets and I will be mounting the 3:55 posi in my 66. Is it true that there is an additive I should add to the gear oil because it is a posi? Thanks

i tried to run it without the special posi additive and it would always make a clunking sound, kinda like i had a detroit locker but i didnt. after i used that posi lube it went away. only difference i noticed

yes its true...the clutch packs wont work properly without it (or they may work but for a limited time).

you can get it at NAPA. It's a little bottle. Big difference.
