Default New project- some questions

Hello, I just bought a 66 that needs a lot of work. I am confused on torque boxes. Where are they on a 66 coupe? Does it have any? It has a 289 2V in it that has been rebuilt with a little bigger cam. Can I put a 4 barrel on it? What size would be good? I am sure these won't be the only questions I will have. Thanks in advance!

upgrading to 4 barrel is just upgrading the intake and carb if I remember right. Its been quite a while since I dealt with a 2 barrel. depending on your power 500-600CFM will be more than enough. I think in the stickies there's something about a calculator to help you figure out exactly what you need.

66 coupes didn't come with front torque boxes like you find on 67-68's, They do reproduce them, and you can install them on your car. It's worth the effort.

Weren't the torque boxes orignally designed to give added support to the convertibles? Will they do anything for coupe undernormal driving conditions?
