CJ's has a electronic regulator for $48.00 or so. I was going to order that and then I ran into my local National Auto Parts Store and they had one in stock for $14.00. I don't try to buy "cheap crap" so hopefully mine is as good as the one from CJ's. It's made in America and been working fine since I put it in.

Did the electronic regulator make your lights brighter?

I think it did.It may be be that the lights not flickering make it seem brighter as its a steady beam of light. If your like me $14.00 wouldl be one of the least expensive things you do to your car. It's the easiest, fastest, and least expensive option given from your post. The other's seem like good ideas also.
