Default New Plug Wires for a 289

All the auctions I see for these wire do not list compatibility with a 289.
Will they work?
What are the HEI versions for?

they should work fine. but the only thing you need to watch for is female and male points. i believe the stock 289 distributor is female so you would need male wires.

the HEI ones are female wires.

notice the top wires have the little prong sticking out, but the HEI ones dont

i found this out the hardway when i bought new dizzy/wires[&:]

Buy the 9.00mm JBA set direct from Summit cheaper.. here. Free ground shipping. These will work on a 289 as well.

Thanks Guys,
Summit looks like a good source of these.
Which set would work best with my Tri-Y headers, 289 4BBL?

Might want to look at the cut to fit wires at Summit also.. Summit brand name. Great if your using a wire loom to organize your wires.

Ran across these.....opinions?
